Job Summary:

This position will direct the Economic Empowerment program and team while being responsible for leading, defining, and supporting a workforce development strategy that focuses on digital skills, financial literacy, education, professional growth, and economic empowerment. This will all be done through a special focus on women and communities of color. The position will include program development, workshop facilitation (virtual and in-person), case management, policy development, advocacy & outreach, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Staff Management Recruiting, training, and supervising all staff related to the program including interns and volunteers. Develop a volunteer mentorship program to provide one-on-one support to program participants. Collaborate with other YWCA staff and community partners members to build and expand the program to best meet the needs of women in the community. Support Advocacy efforts at the local and state level. Network with partner organizations and participate in community economic empowerment committees and task forces. Program Oversight & Evaluation Develop and implement a strategic plan to support a strong economic and workforce development program. Direct YWCAs Strive digital skills economic empowerment program including facilitation of a multi-week curriculum (in a virtual and in-person format) and provide support to participants and staff. Direct Sisters Village E4 program (bi-monthly job search/financial literacy workshops). Support YW Strive and Sisters Village E4 program participants in job search activities as needed. Oversee the adaptation of the YW Strive and related curriculum to remain relevant and accessible. Oversee the collection and preparation of participant data and reports for funders
