Job Description & Responsibilities:

· Designing, implementing, and maintaining PostgreSQL database system to integrate SAP ERP with Oracle P6.

· Work closely with application developers and other IT teams to understand their requirements and provide database support and solutions. Diagnosing data migration related issues and provide resolution.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor Degree required

• MUST HAVE strong knowledge and experience working with PostgreSQL.

• Strong experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles.

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Lead Data Engineer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and database performance tuning.

• Strong knowledge of data management fundamentals, data storage principles, ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture.

• Experience with any ERP system integrations.

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.

Time Management Skills:

• Skills in managing time and organizing own work

• Work well under pressure and adhere to strict timelines

• Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to connect and communicate effectively in a team environment
