CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OMH outpatient clinic setting.

In this vital role, you will:

• Conduct all aspects of psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples or groups according to caseload assigned.

• Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction.

• Attend weekly social work meetings arriving promptly, participating actively in the process and assuming responsibility for rotating presentations.

• Attend annual agency training for Quality Assurance including fire safety, mandated reporting of abuse and universal precautions.

• Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment.

We require:

• Master’s degree in social work.

• License for Social Work Certification by New York State.

• Current New York State Registration of Social Work license.

• Strong clinical experience, required.
