Offered Wage: $201,000/year

Duties:

Strengthens relationships with key Technology stakeholders and assists stakeholders to better understand and manage technology risks and controls to protect and drive enterprise value. Represents the Corporate Audit Department (CAD) on cross-functional committees and working groups by providing valuable risk and control thought leadership concerning technology topics. Provides a strategic perspective by connecting information from across the organization and external thought leadership to drive risk assessment, provide context for audit outcomes, and identify new opportunities for CAD to provide value to stakeholders. Works with technology and business stakeholders to assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on a wide variety of technology-related topics, including major technology projects, cybersecurity, cloud, data, privacy, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, analytics and emerging technologies. Collaborates with the first and second-line lines of defense to plan work efforts, reduce audit fatigue, and drive productive outcomes for CAD projects. Provides coaching to junior team members to develop their knowledge of audit methodologies and technology-related topics. Leads departmental risk assessments and audit planning, and completes planning deliverables according to department standards. Oversees audit engagements performed by the IT Audit team including, Audit Managers leading engagements with clients, providing guidance to the team, and engaging with technology and business leaders concerning audit outcomes. Assists departmental efforts related to continuous audit improvement, including data analytics, automation, continuous monitoring, and other emerging tools and methods. Manages third-party relationships for the IT audit team and maintains oversight of spending and return on investment (ROI). Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the department, including talent, processes, and tools. Keeps abreast of the regulatory landscape impacting technology areas.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Finance, Accounting (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Senior Technology Manager (or related occupation) working in internal audit, risk management, consulting or compliance assurance services in the finance or life insurance industry.

Or, alternatively:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Finance, Accounting (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Technology Manager (or related occupation) working in internal audit, risk management, consulting or compliance assurance services in the finance or life insurance industry.

Required Skills:

Experience must include 3 years in each of the following skills:

(1) Establishing and cultivating critical business relationships with senior leaders and executives and translating technology topics and audit issues into layperson's terms for business leaders;

(2) Collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to identify and assess risks, provide insight, and offer consultation concerning technology projects, cybersecurity, cloud, data privacy, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, analytics, and innovative technologies;

(3) Performing comprehensive risk assessments and audits within the cybersecurity domain, including Identity Access Management (IAM), infrastructure security, vulnerability management, cybersecurity operations, application security, incident response, and forensics leveraging COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and ITIL control frameworks;

(4) Auditing cloud technologies leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their related infrastructure; and,

(5) Defining, implementing and, auditing data security and privacy controls for data warehouse and data lake platforms.
