SEM/PPC Specialist
Montebello, New York
Reporting to the VP for Digital Marketing, you will be part of our acquisition and growth team. You will be responsible for the strategy, planning implementation and optimization of our SEM/PPC campaigns. You can quickly assess, understand, and manage initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of digital campaigns. The ideal candidate is data-driven and self-motivated, and ready for any challenge thrown their way.
This is a hybrid role where the candidate can partially work from home but must come into the office once a week.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on SEM/PPC performance and identify opportunities for ongoing growth and optimization
Stay current with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and social advertising best practices
Plan, execute and manage paid marketing campaigns across search, display, video, and social advertising channels
Demonstrate and exercise expertise and thought leadership across search, display, video, and social advertising channels
Knowledge of ad platforms, including setup, bidding, targeting, creative optimization, as well as conversion tracking and troubleshooting
Research our competitors, their offerings, and their messaging and ensure that our selling propositions are communicated effectively across all channels and within the industries in which we compete
Examine ongoing results to identify campaign trends and deliver actionable insights
Oversee, manage, and generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major SEM/PPC metrics
Collaborate effectively with multiple teams across different groups
Strategize, set-up, and optimize ad campaigns on Google, Facebook (and other social advertising platforms), and Microsoft Ads platforms
Research, develop, and advise on keyword and audience research, competitive analysis, ad copy development, account structure organization, conversion tracking, account linking and integrations, A/B testing, and more
Requirements:
Ability to wear multiple hats based on the needs of the task at hand and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Affinity for technology and learning new concepts.
2-5 years of experience managing paid advertising accounts across search, display, video, and social advertising channels.
Strong analytic ability including web analytics.
Some familiarity with SEO strategies and techniques.
Working knowledge of all ad serving tools and platforms.
Previous experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and setting up goals and conversion tracking on both platforms
Strategic and highly detail oriented
Highly motivated and organized with strong time management skills
Must be a true problem solver who uses tools, resources, and experience to work through any daily issues that arise and is willing to continuously learn
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment and industry
