iPostal1, the leading provider of Digital Mailbox technology worldwide, seeks a Director of Sales to manage and build our retail mail center partner vertical. Our website, www.iPostal1.com, lists 3,000 addresses, including retail pack and ship stores, 1,000 Staples stores and coworking spaces. Customers choose a mailing address for business or personal use and view and manage their postal mail and packages anywhere with an app or online.

With the continued expansion of our business, we have created this new position to focus on the Retail vertical. Maintaining strong relationships with our existing mail center partners and further expanding the list of retail mailing addresses is critical to achieve our growth objectives.

Position Summary

The Director of Sales, Retail, will create and implement a sales plan to further penetrate this Retail vertical, including new channels and partnerships. The key metric will be signing up new locations that list their address on iPostal1.com. The expectation is to use all methods communication and engagement available, including phone, email and online webinars, social media, as well as trade shows and conferences. A team of B2B marketers will provide support.

The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong sales acumen, and the experience communicating in an outgoing, poised, and persuasive manner. Prior B2B sales experience is required. This position is based in our Montebello corporate office.

Position Responsibilities

Coach and manage an existing team of three salespeople. Build and craft the team to drive growth and efficiency.

Serve as primary point of contact and account manager with significant partners, retail pack and ship franchisors, and trade associations.

Create and implement a sales plan to increase penetration in existing Retail vertical channels.

Identify new channel opportunities within the Retail vertical, including major multi-location players, and create and implement a sales plan to penetrate the new opportunities.

Collaborate with the B2B Marketing team on the collateral needed to support the sales effort, including content, emails, and brochures, as well as trade show materials and branded merchandise.

Utilize company reporting and CRM tools to analyze performance, identify trends, and develop plans, as well as respond to key channel partner information requests.

Attend several trade shows and industry conferences each year.

Position Qualifications

B2B sales experience with demonstrated achievement and supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have worked for a SaaS technology company.

Self-directed, ambitious, organized, entrepreneurial mind-set.

Strong oral and written communication skills, strong one-on-one and group presentation skills. Experienced user of CRM software tools.

Dedication to achieving results through persistence and continual improvement.

Basic computer, Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet skills.

Base salary plus bonus
