Process Improvement and Systems Analyst

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Process Improvement and Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and streamline operations. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, technology systems and a keen eye for detail. This is an onsite role working Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 in our headquarters in Rockland County, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document workflows, and understand business needs.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of process issues, and recommend solutions.

  • Design and document new processes, workflows, and procedures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and systems implementations, while keeping them informed on other ideas.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on results.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives related to service management processes.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of Freshservice configurations and data to ensure continual use in effective or changes need to be made.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Freshservice, staying informed about new features, updates, and best practices.

  • Document process changes, system configurations, and best practices for reference and training purposes.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to process improvement and systems optimization.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or systems analysis role.

  • Experience working with technology platforms required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Proven experience in project management or work organization, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).

  • Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software.

  • Experience working collaboratively on Google Sheets and Docs, including sharing documents, setting permissions, and managing version history to facilitate team collaboration and document management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information.
