Job Responsibilities Responsible for high quality welding of manufactured parts and other weldments

Job Duties

Set up equipment Inspect and change consumables as needed Verify proper gas pressures setting Review drawings for each job Set up weldments and prepare for welding Cut grind and fit work to ready for welding Weld the parts to specification Grind and reweld discontinuities as needed

Qualifications Two years min experience with Mig and Tig Weld steel and stainless steel in various thicknesses and positions Ability to use abrasives for weld prep and dress welds Ability to read fabrication drawings Use of appropriate PPE Safety Glasses Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves Clothing as Directed Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to work overtime when required Maintain area and keep it neat and organized Adherence to supervisors directions Strong mechanical aptitude
