Job Description

Sterling National Bank is looking to a hire a Project/Program Implementation Manager to work on major bank-wide projects, related to our Consumer Banking group, ensuring the proposed requirements and potential deliverables of all projects are in alignment with our banking strategies and cultural values. You will plan, organize and lead all projects as directed. Additionally, this position collaborates with cross-function teams and key stakeholders to ensure that projects are successful executed within the proper timeframe and budget constraints.

Core Job Responsibilities/Key Activities/Elements:

  1. Ensure projects are delivered in timely manner and within scope of budget, including the following bank-wide initiatives: core system conversion, Financial Center consolidation, relocations/right-sizing, CRM system selection and build out, book of business design, future acquisition integration initiatives, as well as ongoing program administration.

  2. Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of major projects; lead, co-lead, and facilitate cross-functional teams; provide leadership that builds required to accomplish the project goals and objectives.

  3. Develop comprehensive project plans and related documentation; track performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

  4. Manage multiple vendors that directly impact Consumer and Business Banking clients; develop service level standards to ensure vendors deliver value; maximize vendor relationships that lead to revenue generation for Bank.

  5. Identify project opportunities, providing quantifiable benefits to the organization for revenue generation and increased efficiencies.

  6. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

  1. 5 years retail banking experience preferred.

  2. 5 years project management experience preferred

Required Experience

  1. Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.

  2. Diversified knowledge and experience in retail banking, sales, incentive management, strategic planning, human performance management, technology, and operations.

  3. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  4. Strong time management, decision-making skills and bottom-line orientation.

  5. Strong sales and marketing skills with production knowledge.

  6. Strong leadership, management and administrative skills.

  7. Strong analytical and research skills.

  8. Good understanding of technology and ability to apply to existing or future.

Salary 69,000.00 - 72,000.00 USD
