This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work weekends. Our office is located at 1 Dakota Drive, Lake Success, NY.

We offer 2 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted on - site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a work team while maintaining high standards

  • Administration of clinical staff work schedule

  • Management direction, all aspects of clinical policies and protocols

  • Provide feedback to address processing issues

  • Respond to provider inquiries that have been received by the escalation and case resolution department

  • Responsible for the flow of patient care in the office

  • The big challenge is motivating people and leading by example with a positive attitude that's professional, courteous and cheerful.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • 5+ years of one - on - one patient facing experience

  • 3+ years of experience with phlebotomy

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

  • Well - versed in Electronical Medical Records

  • Ability to work an on - site position and reside within a commutable distance to the office: 1 Dakota Drive, Lake Success, NY

  • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work weekends based on business need

  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Phlebotomist

New York Residents Only: The annual range for New York residents is $48,300 - $94,500 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
