Do you have call center experience? Have you work in the healthcare industry? This bilingual Medical Call Center position is just for you. If you have a positive, professional demeanor and understand the importance of scheduling patient appointments with accuracy, this opportunity is perfect for you! The ideal candidate has previous customer service or call center experience. The hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm and pays $21/hour.

salary: $20.5 - $21 per hour

work hours: 10 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

General duties include:

• Manage large amount of inbound & outbound calls in a timely manner for a multi-specialty, multi-location health center

• Call Center Representatives are expected to manage 80-100 calls per day with a 90% call answer rate

• Answers calls promptly in a polite and professional manner

• Identify client needs, clarify information, research issues & provide solutions

• Verify entered data coincides with appointments

• Verify patient insurance

• Verify patient demographics

• Maintain patient confidentiality

• Schedule patient appointments correctly

• Provides patient-focused service and presents positive impression of LISH to both internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Two years medical office experience, preferably in a fast paced physician practice/clinic.

• Two years Call Center Experience Strongly Preferred.

• Scheduling Software and EMR experience (eClinicalWorks experience desirable)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

• High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSE) required; College degree preferred

• Depending upon experience, hourly rate of pay for this position ranges from $17.00 to $20.40
