Program Assistant - ACT Team

The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments.

We have a great opportunity for a positive, motivated individual to support a multi-disciplinary, mobile outpatient OMH program (ACT – Assertive Community Treatment).

In this role, you will:

• Oversee support functions for the team including daily communication, tracking visits, arranging transportation for recipients, maintaining documentation processes in a central location for access and visualization by all team members.

• Share the responsibility of providing general services to participants with other ACT team members, including care coordination, treatment planning, and organizing.

• Operates and coordinates the management information system (e.g. maintaining CAIRS documentation).

• Perform reception activities (e.g., triaging calls, communication between the program and recipients, faxing, and scanning).

We require:

• Bachelor’s degree; major in Psychology or Behavioral Health related field preferred.

• Minimum of two (2) years office support experience.
