Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Deposit Operations Card Services Specialist located in Columbus, IN.

The Deposit Operations Card Services Specialist provides support to the Retail Team Members, Members and other lines of business regarding Debit and ATM cards, ATM and Interactive Teller Machines, IRAs, Gift Cards and Credit Card accounts. This position will assist with process and procedure improvements and project work as needed.

Spanish/English translators may be eligible for translation differential.The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $20.71per hour.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responds to Team Member and Member inquiries regarding Card Services programs including Gift Card, Instant Issue, Credit Card, Debit/ATM Card and IRA Programs as well as ATM and Interactive Teller Machine maintenance within established department Service Level Agreements.
  • Communicates, facilitates, and manages responses to Team Members questions or identifies areas of needed education through a variety of communication tools including intranet communications, training, and team meetings.
  • Promotes and actively works within the mission statement of the department, be an active participant in team meetings, maintain current cultural foundation. Collaborates with all lines of business through problem resolution and project teams.
  • Identifies opportunities to make processing improvements. Assists in the development and rollout of new products and services. Conducts assigned testing for new products, services, and upgrades in Core System. Identifies any issues and escalates them through the appropriate channels in a timely manner. Follows up with additional results and findings.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:(Equivalent combination of Education and Experience will be considered.)

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory

    experience.
