You'll do:

• Provide project coordination support and assistance, including meeting with internal financial engineers (frequently on Zoom) to prepare and track model-related project plans on internal and regulatory (including US FRB CCAR) initiatives, and escalate any issues that might arise • Act as the point of contact and communicate the project status • Prepare senior management presentation (monthly), consisting of summary charts and detailed status tracking of regulatory and model-related deliverables • Learn and/or use PowerBI to automate existing and new PowerPoint presentations • Support talent management for Risk Analytics • Lead meetings (frequently on Zoom), including with internal financial engineers, internal audit and internal process validation to gather current information • Support organizational, infrastructure/technology and model control initiatives in coordination with other teams • Ad hoc requests, including event management • Contribute to Morgan Stanley’s 5 core values of Doing the Right Thing, Putting Clients First, Leading with Exceptional Ideas, Committing to Diversity and Inclusion and Giving Back

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in a financial or consulting firm (degree preferably, but not exclusively, in a quantitative field) • Strong organizational and project coordination skills as well as ability to adapt to changing priorities • Able to build good working relationships with internal financial engineers / model specialists and other key stakeholders, and committed to teamwork • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word • Proven record of attention to detail • Good communication skills and excellent command of English, both written and verbal • Self-motivator and team player who brings a “can-do” approach

Team profile

The business management team provides project coordination to the sub-departments of Risk Analytics. In addition, the team is responsible for preparing senior management presentations, coordinating regulatory reporting, preparing committee meeting materials, responding to risk governance requests, and running talent management in Risk Analytics. Team members are required to collaborate with senior stakeholders as well as model specialists / financial engineers. Our team ensures that Risk Analytics is on track to meet regulatory and business deadlines.
